Special Announcement
To our Defeat the Peat and Superior Ultra followers: It is with heavy hearts that we postpone these events for 2020. If you registered for Defeat the Peat you have two options: defer to next year or get a full refund. Please email defeatthepeat@gmail.com and let us know what you would prefer. We really hope you join us next year!
For the Superior Ultra we encourage you to run the trails, take pictures and send them to our FB and IG accounts and we will post them. You can head to https://brianlachine6.wixsite.com/superiorultra for more details and, very shortly, order t shirts, hats and stickers.
Lake Superior Provincial Park has been amazing to work with through this world crisis and we look forward to working with them next year for both events
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to email us at defeatthepeat@gmail.com.
You folks are the best!
Regards, your DTP and TSU team.

PEAT MOUNTAIN
Where you will be tested
Peat Mountain sits in the northern reaches of Ontario's Lake Superior Provincial Park on the eastern shore of Lake Superior. The mountain takes its name from a moss known as Sphagnum, more commonly known as Peat Moss which is very common in the lowland bogs surrounding the mountain. Peat Mountain is over 1500 ft high. Good luck!
